Big Hit
So fun! This costume was a big hit. I wore it to work (made a little more modest, of course) and my bff borrowed it for a costume party. Everybody loved it! The fabric is high quality. People couldn't believe I bought it. They thought I made it. I only made two observations that were unfavorable. 1) As many people have noted here, one of the buttons that secures the train fell off the moment I got it out of the package. I don't think it was ever securely fastened onto the body of the costume. 2) I'm a size small in womens (40-28-38), but had to get a large in this costume. Even then, it was a tight fit. Looked great, given the styling, but I wish they had either more reasonable sizing or an XL that I could have sized up to.

a party hit!
this costume is beautiful and very well made...very pleased...crown a hard to stay put, but fixed it with good bobby pins...it was a hit at our party! everyone was raving about it...

I amn so pleased with this costume. It was made extremely well, and I can't wait until Halloween to wear it. My buttons also fell off immediately after getting the costume out of the bag, but it was fixed fairly easily. I need to get the wrinkles out of the crown, but otherwise this outfit is absolutely perfect!!!

Fabulous!
I absolutely LOVE this outfit! It is such great quality. I normally wear a medium or large sized shirt - and according to the sizing chart I was a large for the chest part. I'm a 36C. The outfit seems to be smaller up top. But no biggy - I took it to be altered and have the top being changed into a corset style top instead. That way I can actually tighten the waist area up a bit too since that part of me isn't a large. Buy this if u want fun and fabulous!

Very Cute!
I was surprised that this costume was as nice as the picture! The details are outstanding and the fabric was much better than expected. The sizing was just about right. I take a small and it fit like a glove. I was expecting it to be too large. I was glad I asked an online customer service rep about the red pettticoat because the dress doesn't come with it! Not knowing that would've caused a lot of headaches. So I had to order the one shown separately. I'm glad I did. It makes the outfit.

Great Costume
I just received my costume, and I must say that I love it! I'm 5'5" 122lbs and I ordered a small. Its fits great. The top is snug and stays up nicely without the clear straps. I also ordered the black and red reversable peddicoat, although the costume skirt does have ruffles already :) This was an all around great purchase. My only concern is to find a way to keep the lapel propped up like it is in the photo. The skirt was a little wrinkled when it came out of the package so I left it on a hanger it fluff it back up. I can't wait to wear it!!

BEST costume ever purchased!!!
I just received this costume and I coudn't be happier with it! The quality is outstanding, it is exactly as it appears in the pictures! I have been a dancer for years and have perticipated inmany many shows and recitals, so I'd like to think I know a good costume when I see one. This is definitely a good cotume! I believe the fit to be true to size. I am in between an 8-10 dress size (5'4" and 160 lbs) so I typically would have ordered the Large only it wasn't in stock. I took my chances and ordered the Medium and lucky for me it fits! It's a bit snug, but it zippers and I can sit without passing out :D The length is perfect, short enough to be sexy but long enough to cover everything. The dress comes with a nicely made built-in petticoat so buying the red one (pictured) isn't necessary, but it certainly adds to the costume tastefully. I ordered the petticoat pictured and I just LOVE it!!! The price is a bit high for a halloween costume, but I have to say it's worth every penny!!! The only cons to this costume are the buttons on the back are a little loose (but it's a super easy fix) and the crown was flattened when I got mine (again, an easy fix). Certainly not deal breakers though. I would highly recommend this costume and will certainly be buying through buycostumes.com again!

Super Adorable
When I received this costume I definitely understood why it was so pricey. The material is not cheap looking and it looks like more of a handmade costume than one you would buy in a store. I have to disagree with some of the reviewers saying it is not true to size. I am 5'5 115lbs and normally wear an XS and I am so happy I didn't buy a size up. It fits perfectly. I'm really excited to wear this to some Halloween parties this year!
